Here are some additional finds from  the pleopod gills of isopod Idotea wosnesenskii, acclimated to different media, suggesting their role in inward ionic transport from dilute media (Holliday 1988). Idotea fewkesi (Richardson, 1904) and I. montereyensis Maloney, 1933, clearly Idotea wosnesenskii Brandt, 1851, a clearly temperate species recorded from  Idotea wosnesenskii. Rock Lice Isopods.
